About LifeLine Western Cape – Khayelitsha
LifeLine Western Cape's Khayelitsha satellite office extends the organisation's counselling and crisis support services directly into one of Cape Town's largest and most underserved township communities. The Khayelitsha office is operated under the same NPO registration and management structure as the main Cape Town office (59 Roeland Street).
Services Available in Khayelitsha
- Face-to-face counselling for individuals and families in the Khayelitsha area — including GBV survivors, trauma survivors, and people in emotional crisis
- Referrals to specialist services including Simelela Rape Centre, Rape Crisis Khayelitsha, Nonceba Family Counselling Centre, and other local GBV and social welfare services
- Community outreach and awareness in Khayelitsha and surrounding Cape Flats communities
- Access to the LifeLine 24/7 telephonic crisis line (021 461 1111) and WhatsApp counselling (063 709 2620) for clients who cannot travel to an office
