About
North West Province. Mothotlung sits within the greater Brits township complex (alongside Letlhabile, Maboloka, Bapong, and others), an area characterised by large informal settlements, significant mining industry presence, and high rates of GBV. The Network works in direct partnership with the Department of Social Development to deliver frontline VEP services to a rural and peri-urban population that has very limited access to more formal victim support infrastructure. Services include victim empowerment support for abused women and children, GBV awareness and education across 15 villages, psychosocial support and safety planning, court support, referrals to DSD social workers and other services, and ongoing community outreach and prevention campaigns. Contact via the Mothotlung Network Facebook page (MothotlungNetwork) for current phone number, operating hours, and intake process. Note: The phone number 012 717 8182 listed separately by the user in this batch may correspond to this organisation or to SAPS Moretele — confirm directly.
